Founded in 2002 by Robert O’Keefe, Reef Group has grown from a single truck operation into a multi-award-winning transport business specialising in sea container transport, heavy haulage, and oversize loads across Western Australia. Operating from depots in High Wycombe (Perth) and Davenport (Bunbury), Reef Group services metropolitan Perth, regional WA, mine sites, and the Fremantle Port precinct.
The company is recognised for its commitment to safety, having developed the globally patented Container Loading and Offloading System (CLOS), which provides the safest method of 20-foot sea container transport via tilt tray. This innovation earned a WorkSafe Award in 2005 for an Outstanding Contribution to Safety and Health, followed by a WA Innovator of the Year finalist nomination in 2015.

Sea Container Transport
Reef Group handles 20-foot and 40-foot sea container movements throughout Western Australia, including port-to-door services via Fremantle. Their side-loader fleet can carry containerised loads weighing up to 30 tonnes, while their patented CLOS system enables safe tilt-tray transport of 20-foot containers without the need for a crane or forklift at the delivery site.
Heavy Haulage and Oversize Loads
A dedicated fleet of low loaders, drop decks, and semi tilt trays handles machinery, access equipment, and oversize cargo. Low loaders feature dual decks (3.8m top deck and 9.8m bottom deck) with container twist locks, supporting loads up to 24 tonnes. Hiab crane trucks can lift up to 100 tonnes for precise placement at site.
Regional and Mine Site Delivery
Reef Group regularly delivers to remote mine sites and regional locations across Western Australia, as well as arranging interstate transport via rail or drop-off at Fremantle Port for shipping. All vehicles are WA Heavy Vehicle Accredited (Main Roads), and drivers hold relevant licences, MSIC cards, white cards, and elevated work platform certifications.
