Coastal Midwest Transport is a privately owned freight company established in 1993, headquartered in Welshpool, Perth with a major depot in Kalgoorlie. The company has built a strong reputation as one of the largest freight operators running a daily line-haul service between Perth and Kalgoorlie, with regular distribution across the Goldfields, Midwest, and Pilbara regions.

With expertise spanning air, rail, sea, and road coverage, Coastal Midwest handles consignments of every size, from fine fragile goods to 580-tonne dump trucks. Both the Perth and Kalgoorlie facilities are CCTV-monitored with back-to-base alarm systems, providing secure storage and distribution for all freight types.

Daily Perth-Kalgoorlie Line-Haul

Coastal Midwest operates one of the most frequent Perth-to-Kalgoorlie line-haul services in WA, dispatching trucks from Sunday night through to Friday night with prompt distribution across surrounding areas. Saturday deliveries are available upon request, and urgent “hot shot” drivers can be arranged at short notice for time-critical freight.

Goldfields, Midwest & Pilbara Distribution

Beyond the core Perth-Kalgoorlie corridor, Coastal Midwest services the Eastern Goldfields including Leonora, Leinster, and Laverton on regular schedules. The Pilbara region is serviced three times per week, while all other state, national, and international destinations are available on request.

Warehousing & Secure Storage

The Perth depot totals 25,000 square metres, featuring a 2,500m2 warehouse shed and an equally sized undercover canopy for protected storage. The Kalgoorlie depot spans over 21,000 square metres with two 1,000m2 closed-storage sheds and an additional 1,500m2 undercover canopy. Both facilities provide cost-effective receival, distribution, and storage, with a locked collection service available for high-security consignments.
